Hướng dẫn cài đặt Zimbra Mail trên Ubuntu 20.04

Giới thiệu

Zimbra là gì?

Zimbra là phần mềm xây dựng Email Server được cung cấp và cài đặt dưới 2 phiên bản: mã nguồn mở (Open Source Edition) và bản có phí (Network Edition). Zimbra Collaboration Suite (Zimbra), là giải pháp hỗ trợ doanh nghiệp triển khai môi trường làm việc nhóm, quản lý và chia sẻ công việc một cách hệ thống.

Các tính năng nổi bật của Zimbra Mail

Thư điện tử: một hệ thống thư điện tử hoàn chỉnh gồm Mail server (SMTP, POP3, IMAP, antivirus, antispam, openLDAP, backup, …, có đầy đủ các tính năng như auto-reply, auto-forward, mail filter, …) và Mail client (Zimbra desktop và Zimbra Web Client).
Lịch công tác (calendar): lịch cá nhân và lịch nhóm, tự động gửi mail mời họp,…
Sổ địa chỉ (Contacts): sổ cá nhân và sổ chung của nhóm
Danh mục công việc (Task): của cá nhân và nhóm.
Tài liệu (Documents): tài liệu dưới dạng wiki của cá nhân hoặc soạn tập thể
Cặp hồ sơ (Briefcase): lưu file dùng riêng hoặc chung.
Chat: chat nội bộ trong mạng LAN hoặc trên Internet.
Tất cả các mục trên đều có phần chạy trên máy chủ (nằm trong Zimbra Server), lưu trên máy chủ để có thể dùng chung được và truy cập được từ bất kỳ đâu có Internet. (nếu cài trên máy chủ có Internet). Các mục đó đều có khả năng share (kể cả các thư mục email: Inbox, Sent) cho người khác dùng chung.
Zimbra có hai phần mềm client: Zimbra desktop và Zimbra Web client là giao diện với người dùng. Zimbra desktop (tương tự như Outlook, KMail,…) cài được trên Windows, Mac, Linux. Ngoài ra có thể dùng các mail client khác như Outlook, Evolution, KMail, Thunderbird, … Hai loại mail client trên ứng với hai cách làm việc:Làm việc online, dùng Zimbra web client. Mọi thông tin sẽ lưu trên máy chủ Zimbra. Zimbra Web Client có hai giao diện: dạng html thông thường, nhanh nhưng ít tính năng và dạng Ajax (tương tự Yahoo Mail). Zimbra Web Client là một trong những Web Client hoàn chỉnh nhất hiện nay (hỗ trợ hầu hết tính năng của Zimbra Server, kể cả chat).
Làm việc offline, dùng các mail client còn lại. Riêng Outlook, Apple Desktop và Evolution có thể đồng bộ email, calendar, contacts và task với máy chủ Zimbra, các mail client khác chỉ dùng đọc và gửi email.
Zimbra cũng hỗ trợ làm việc với các điện thoại di động iPhone, Blackberry, …

Điều kiện cần để cài đặt Zimbra trên Ubuntu 20.04

Ubuntu 20.04 Sever
CPU: 4 Core trở lên
Ram: Khuyến nghị 8GB trở lên
Disk space: Tối thiểu 20GB

Hướng dẫn cài đặt

Bước 1: Chuẩn bị môi trường cài đặt Zimbra

Cài đặt screen

Quá trình cài đặt Zimbra sẽ hơi lâu một chút, do đó bạn nên cài đặt trong Screen để đảm bảo quá trình cài đặt ngay cả khi không có mạng.

Để tạo một screen , bạn có thể tạo theo lệnh sau

Bây giờ bạn có thể yên tâm thao tác các lệnh tiếp theo rồi.

Cấu hình Hostname

Cấu hình file hosts đảm bảo phân giải Domain về IP của server

vi /etc/hosts

Thêm IP VPS và Hostname vào tương tự như hình và save lại.

Điều chỉnh timezone tương ứng múi giờ của quốc gia của công ty sử dụng email server

Disable DNS local và sử dụng public DNS

Cập nhật resolv.conf để server có thể phân giải được DNS

Cập nhật hệ điều hành lên phiên bản mới nhất và cài đặt các software yêu cầu cơ bản

Bước 2: Cài đặt Zimbra

Download Zimbra OCS 8.8.15

Giải nén và di chuyển vào thư mục cài đặt

Chạy lệnh cài đặt Zimbra

Tiếp đó các bạn thiết lập cài đặt tương tự như bên dưới, các bạn để ý phần mình bôi đỏ.

Mở Port Firewall

Sau khi cài đặt xong, bạn tiến hành mở các Port cần thiết để sử dụng dịch vụ Mail Zimbra với các Port cụ thể

Cú pháp để mở Port trên Ubuntu tương tự như sau:

Cấu hình xong, bạn hãy truy cập vào Admin Zimbra theo địa chỉ https://hostname:7071 hoặc https://IP-Server:7071 . Trước đó mình set hostname là zimbra.damtrungkien.ino , do đó đường dẫn đăng nhập của mình sẽ là : https://zimbra.damtrungkien.info:7071/.

Tiếp đó bạn đăng nhập với thông tin bên dưới

Username: admin@domain.com  (Nhập Domain của bạn vào)
Password: Passwd                         ( Passwd đã set ở phần cài đặt)

Đăng nhập thành công, giao diện Zimbra sẽ như hình.
